For reporting, claims, or billing, you may need to keep track of how many days someone was in or out of your community in a given month.
Step 1:
Navigate to the residents chart.
Step 2:
Use the dropdown in the upper right corner to select "Mark As Away."
Step 3:
Enter the date the resident left the community and the reason. To finalize, click "Set."
Note: You cannot schedule this for the future, but you can mark a resident as away for any time in the past.
Step 4:
Once marked as away, you'll see a gray banner at the top of their page. Use the "Edit" button to make changes to the start date/time or the "End Now" button once they've returned to the community.
Step 5:
When they return, you can enter the "Return Date" and confirm the time they returned. Both date and time are required to end their away status.
Away Residents Report
Step 1:
From the left side menu, navigate to your community's Residents page.
Step 2:
Use the "Download" button on the top right of the page to search for the "Away From Community" report to generate.
