You might wonder if the automatic creation of draft orders can be bypassed when applying a discount from our app.

Unfortunately, it's not possible. Our current approach for all promotions involves working through Draft Orders to apply the discount upon order completion.

We're actively researching how Shopify functions work for a future solution to eliminate the need for draft orders. However, in the meantime, our app (Automatic Discounts & Upsells) will continue to utilize draft orders for applying discounts.
