Why should payment pass through PSX instead of going directly to the seller?

Our goal is to protect both the buyer and seller. We ensure the buyer's payment is secure before instructing the seller to release the vehicle to them. Sellers won't have to worry about handling large amounts of cash or verifying cashier's checks.

We hold the buyer's funds in escrow until they confirm possession of the vehicle. Then we ensure the buyer gets a clean title free of any liens.

It's especially risky for a buyer to pay a seller directly if there's a lien on the vehicle with no guarantee the seller will pay off the lien or provide a clean title. PSX steps in to mitigate the risks inherent to private party sales.
