🎤 Pairing a Bluetooth Device
1. On your Bluetooth microphone, enable Pairing Mode
This is typically enabled by pressing on the main button for a few seconds until the device starts blinking. Otherwise, check the manual provided with the microphone.
2. (iOS) On your phone Settings, go to Bluetooth. You should see your device at the bottom where it says OTHER DEVICES. Select the device and connect.
(Android) Swipe down from the top of the screen > Touch and hold Bluetooth > Find the microphone in the list of devices and pair.
3. If you are using a bluetooth microphone, on Ava, Start a Conversation. Then, tap on the ⚙️ settings icon. Under the Microphone section, make sure that your bluetooth microphone is selected.
🍎 Pairing a Bluetooth Microphone on an Apple Computer
1. On your Bluetooth microphone, enable Pairing Mode
This is typically enabled by pressing on the main button for a few seconds until the device starts blinking. Otherwise, check the manual provided with the microphone.
2. On your computer, go to System Preferences > Bluetooth. Find your device and take all the necessary steps to pair the Bluetooth mic.
3. On Ava Web/Desktop, in the side menu on the left, click on the 🎙 microphone icon to select your Bluetooth microphone as a source and watch Ava caption away!
💻 Pairing a Bluetooth Microphone on a Windows Computer
1. On your Bluetooth microphone, enable Pairing Mode
This is typically enabled by pressing on the main button for a few seconds until the device starts blinking. Otherwise, check the manual provided with the microphone.
2. On your computer, go to Start > Settings > Bluetooth & devices. Then click on "Add Device"
Follow the prompts to connect your Bluetooth microphone to your computer.
3. Once your Bluetooth microphone is connected, head over to Ava Web/Desktop and on the side menu on the left, click on the box next to the 🎙 microphone icon to select your Bluetooth microphone as a source and watch Ava caption away!
