The Task Progress Chart functions as a cumulative flow diagram, offering a comprehensive view of task progression throughout the entire project lifecycle. The total number of tasks is represented by the black line on the chart. In contrast, the green line signifies the number of tasks that have been successfully completed.

The disparity between the green and black lines denotes the number of tasks that are yet to be completed. Ideally, as the project approaches its conclusion, these lines should converge, which would indicate that all tasks have been fulfilled and there is no outstanding work remaining.
