✨ Introducing a New Application Page and AI detection tool
We’re thrilled to announce a major update to AwardSpring — featuring a completely rebuilt Application tab and an all-new AI Detection feature. The redesigned Application tab offers a cleaner, more intuitive workspace for managing sections and questions setup for your scholarship program.
Along with the new design, we’ve made substantial performance improvements to deliver faster load times and a smoother overall experience. Whether you’re building complex conditional logic or fine-tuning question details, everything feels more responsive and streamlined.
This release also introduces AI Detection for essays and open-ended responses — giving scholarship administrators the ability to identify potential AI-generated content. Together, these updates make AwardSpring more powerful, transparent, and effortless to use than ever before.

Email Template Library
The new Email Template Library, designed to make communication management more flexible and organized. This update gives you a central space to create and manage templates for every audience — students, donors, and reviewers — all from one streamlined view.
With new release you can now easily build templates for Scholarship Announcements, Gift Acknowledgements, or Bulk Outreach messages — each template can be customized to match your organization’s voice and communication style.
Whether you’re sharing updates, expressing gratitude, or sending reminders, the new Email Template Library makes it easy to keep your emails clear, consistent, and personal.
Introducing SpringAPIs
Seamless Data Integration to the AwardSpring Platform
Connect Instantly: SpringAPIs provide a secure, token-based integration layer that connects AwardSpring with your campus systems, CRMs, and reporting tools — eliminating manual data exchange.
Real-Time Access: Start by fetching award cycle information and scholarship fund balances, with a growing library of endpoints coming soon.
Transparent Documentation: Comprehensive API documentation is available in our knowledge base to make setup and support effortless.
Foundation for Expansion: This is the first step in our broader vision of connected, modular AwardSpring products powered by the SpringAPI architecture.
Other Platform Improvements
Scholarships Controls
We introduced visibility controls for scholarships. Now scholarships can be hidden from student and the logged out view, so they stay invisible for applied and denied students and for external visitors.
Additional Requirements section and Qualification tab are more visually aligned with overall platform's look and feel.
On the Award-Deny screen we updated the logic of content downloading to fetch only filtered list of students, not all applied students.
For some instances, Scholarship badge (active/closed) logic was updated to respect scholarship application dates.
Smart Reports
We enhanced filtering capabilities by introducing a new type of filters for text fields: now you can filter on FundID, Scholarship Title, Department Name, Review Group name, and many more.
