Backbone 1.0 - How to Download Final Tech Packs from Links

Learn How To Quickly Download Tech Packs from 1.0

Updated over 3 years ago

Note: This method uses the Google Chrome Extension: Chrono Download Manager. This extension was not developed or endorsed by Backbone but does offer practical solutions to managing downloads throughout Google Chrome. In this instance we will be using Chrono to complete the desired tasks.

  • To begin you will want to download Chrono if you do not already have it available as an extension. Simply go to google search "Chrono Download Manager" and it should be the first link available within the list.

  • Once you land on the page, go ahead and click on “add to chrome” “add extension” then “Start”

  • After it has been added, you can then begin copying links to Tech Packs from your Backbone 1.0 Account. In this instance I have a small list within Google Sheets that I have premade for this tutorial.

  • We’ll highlight all of the links that we want, copy them, then head into our tab with the chrono download manager opened and click on the + button found in the top left. In the box that is labeled “URL” is where we are going to paste our Tech Pack Links.

  • The next box tells us where our downloads will be saved. I’ll use the regular downloads folder for this example. Then, click “Start” to initiate the download.

  • Once this is complete you should have all of your Tech Packs in .pdf format within the downloads area.

That concludes our tutorial on how to turn tech pack links from Backbone 1.0 into .pdf format. Thanks so much for watching, good luck, have fun.
