Backbone Tech Packs are PDF exports of the data in the Product Record. There are many options for customizing what information is included in your TP and how it’s formatted. Once generated, your techpacks are stored in the Tech Pack tab of the Product Record, and you’re able to download or email them out to your partners directly from there.
Creating Tech Packs
There are options to generate new Tech Packs in a few different locations:
Top right of the Product Summary Tab
Bottom Right of the Product Tech Pack Tab
Via the 3-dot Overflow Menu for each Product in the Product Library
Regardless of where you initially generate the Tech Pack, it is subsequently managed in the Product Tech Pack Tab
The same pop-up Creation Modal appears no matter where you initiate your tech pack; this is where you specify the included content and format
On the first page of the Creation Modal, assign your techpack Name and choose which sections to include
The Default Tech Pack Name will be your Style Number and Style Name, overwrite with another Name if desired
Below the Name field, all sections of your Product Record are listed
Additional subsections appear within the Size Spec and Feedback & Revisions sections depending on how many Samples you’ve added to the Product
Uncheck checkboxes to exclude any section(s) from your Tech Pack
Reorder your Tech Pack sections by clicking the 6 dot handles, then dragging-and-dropping
On the second page of the Creation Modal, specify how many Images should display per TP page
The default setting is one Image per page, if this is your preference, you do not need to make any selections on this page
Images with Annotations cannot be combined on a page, they will always display one per page
Unannotated Images can be combined up to 6 per page
On the third page of the Creation Modal, choose between an Expanded or Condensed layout for our Bill of Materials
Condensed Layout: Component details are listed first, then Product Colorways and associated Component Colorways display in nested rows. There is no customization available for this layout, and certain information cannot be displayed. This layout generally requires fewer pages.
Expanded Layout: Product Colorways are managed in unique columns rather than nested rows. The layout is more customizable - choose to exclude or include specific Colorways, Images, and Price/Quantity information. This layout generally requires more pages.

Share a TP by clicking the Mail icon. A pop-up modal appears:
Here you can create a public link that you can share via email directly from Backbone or simply copy the link to use anywhere else
Note: Anyone who has the public link can view the tech pack and its attachments. If you delete the tech pack, the public link will stop working.
If you click on email you can then include recipients email addresses, a subject line, and message along with your tech pack's public link.
Select one or more Tech Pack(s) via the checkbox to access the Bulk Actions toolbar, which appears at the top of the page and will allow you to delete multiple tech packs at once
