Creating an account is straightforward. There are four steps you’ll need to complete to create your Backpack account.
Step 1: Mobile Number Verification
Enter your US phone number to start creating an account. We will send you a verification code to verify the number is yours.
Step 2: Email Address Verification
Similar to the mobile phone verification, we will ask you for an email address and email you a verification code to confirm it is your email. It’s important we know it’s you!
Step 3: Identity Verification
We partner with a third party verification service called Persona to verify your identity - we need to do this for legal and regulatory reasons, but it also helps us keep your account secure!

Step 4: Create account
Once your identity is confirmed you'll be able to create your account. You'll be redirected to your Backpack dashboard and guided through how to setup a student(s) and make a payment.
