Your metadata can be found in 'Website Builder', then 'Branding' on your Dashboard:
Scroll to the 'Metadata' section.
As you can see, there are three fields here.
These are important if you are using Baluu for your website, and less so, but still significant, if you are embedding the widget.
Metadata is technically data containing information about other data.
It improves your SEO (Search Engine Optimisation), meaning that customers are more likely to find you. This is because search engines like Google trawl your web pages for keywords and other information. They then compare that data with the metadata to organize your webpage in the search engine results page (SERP). This basically means that adding your metadata will make your business appear higher on the SERP.
The Metadata picture appears in the top tab of your search engine, like in the below example. A lot of people choose to make this the same as their logo.
The Metadata title is important because it is one of the first things that Search Engines will scan to understand your content. Have it contain the main keyword that your content is comprised of.
The Metadata description can be a summary of what people can find on your webpage They can appear in the search engine results page in both mobile and desktop searches.
Once you've updated these, press 'Save Changes'.
