How do I reschedule a customer? What happens when a customer reschedules their booking?

Rescheduling customers from the Calendar

You can quickly reschedule customer bookings on the Baluu platform. If a customer contacts you directly about rescheduling you can do so with these simple steps.

  1. Go to the Baluu Dashboard and select the 'Calendar' tab.

2. A new page will open with all the scheduled events and the specific dates. Find the booking in the Calendar and click on it.

3. A new page will open with the 'Calendar' for that event. Scroll down to the customer you would like to reschedule.

4. Click on the Booking ID.

5. You will be taken to the customer’s booking details page.

6. Click Options, then select Reschedule.

5. A pop-up window will open with the option to reschedule to another date within the same listing, or to a different listing.

6. Choose the preferred option and proceed with the reschedule. Select a new date and time, optionally add a message, then click Confirm Reschedule.

Can I reschedule a booking from the past?

Find the booking within the session that you wish to reschedule and click on it. Next to the customer’s name, you will see the three-dot menu. Click on it, then select Reschedule.


And follow the same rescheduling procedure as above.

Customers can reschedule or cancel bookings based on the cancellation policy you have selected in your terms and conditions. This controls whether they can cancel, reschedule, or if changes are not allowed at all.

Any compensation or charges relating to late cancellations or reschedules will also follow the policy you have set for your business.
