How do I reschedule a customer? What happens when a customer reschedules their booking? How does this affect when I get paid?

Rescheduling customers from the Dashboard

You can quickly reschedule customer bookings on the Baluu platform. If a customer contacts you directly about rescheduling you can do so with these simple steps.

  1. Go to the Baluu Dashboard and select the 'Timetable' tab.

2. A new page will open with all the scheduled events and the specific dates. Find the booking in the Timetable and click on it.

3. A new page will open with the 'Timetable' for that event. Scroll down to the customer you would like to reschedule and select the 3 dot menu in the right corner.

4. A drop-down menu will appear, please select 'Reschedule'.

5. A pop up window will open (see below). Write a message and select a new date. Click on the 'Reschedule' button. Once submitted, the customer will receive an email to confirm the reschedule, and a new reminder email will be sent 3 days before the new event date.

6. Once you click on the 'Reschedule' button a confirmation message will appear confirming that the reschedule was successful.

Can I reschedule a booking from the past?

If a situation arises that requires you to reschedule a booking that was for a session in the past, you can do so whether the session was cancelled or not. This uses the same process above, and will send the same confirmation emails to customers.

N.B. If you have already been paid for the booking, you will not be paid again after the new session date.

Customers can reschedule their own bookings more than 7 days before the event

If it is 7 or more days before the date that the customer booked on to, then the customer(s) can easily reschedule onto one of your other available dates without your permission to change. You will be notified of the reschedule by email and the booking will be automatically updated in your dashboard.

Payment for the booking will be made as usual, on the last day of the month the customer attends the event.

Rescheduled bookings made less than 7 days before the event

We understand that some of our business owners are happy for reschedules to be made within 7 days and we also understand that for some of our business owners, that would not be possible. Therefore, if a customer contacts you and is asking to reschedule their booking less than 7 days before the event, it will be at your discretion as to whether or not you wish to accept.

Please update your cancellation policy in relation to the Baluu system policy types:

  • Cancel or reschedule

  • Reschedule Only

  • No Cancellations.
