Discover how to use Banani with your team

Updated over a week ago

Teams let you collaborate with coworkers or collaborators in a shared workspace, available on any plan, including free.

Creating a team

A team is automatically created for you when you sign up. You are the Team Owner of your personal team by default. You can start inviting collaborators right away from your team settings.

Inviting members

  • Team Owners can invite multiple people by entering their email addresses

  • Invitees receive an email and can accept or decline the invitation

  • Only Owners can invite or remove members

Shared projects

Once you're on a team, you can make each project private or shared with the team.

If you make a project shared, all members can see and open a preview of it. Previews are useful for handoff and light collaboration.

From there your teammates can:

  • Duplicate your project

  • Copy/paste screens from your project into theirs

  • Export screens to Figma/Code

  • Use MCP to read your project contents

Team plans

Upgrading to a Team Plus or Team Pro plan unlocks features of the selected plan for all team members, with centralized billing managed by the Owner.

NOTE: When you activate an Individual subscription, your team members stay on a free plan. This is useful when you're the only person who creates designs and need to hand off work to your teammates or stakeholders.

Coming soon

  • Viewer role (read-only access without consuming an Editor seat)

  • Collaborative editing (co-editing the same project simultaneously)

  • Shared themes across the team
