Who this is for: All Barti users who run reports.
Before you start, you'll need:
A Barti account with permission to view reports
Steps
In the left navigation, click Reports.
Choose a report group from the sub-menu: Overview, Optical Orders, Billing, Inventory, or Insurance.
Within the group, click the tab for the report you want to run.
Set your filters — date range, location, staff member, and any filters specific to that report.
To export, click Download CSV. Reports that support printing also show Print Report.
Reports moved out of Billing. If you previously went to Billing → Reports, use the Reports section instead. Billing now contains only Invoices, Services, and Inventory.
Which reports are in each group
Group | Reports |
Overview | Net Revenue Report |
Optical Orders | Contact Lens Sales, Glasses Frames Sales, Lens Sales |
Billing | Production Report, Standard Report, Payment Method, Payment by Staff, Unbilled Procedure Codes |
Inventory | Inventory History |
Insurance | Insurance Aging Report, Patient Aging Report |
Unbilled Procedure Codes is new — find it on the Billing tab. It surfaces completed exams with billable procedure codes that haven't been claimed yet, with columns for Patient, Date of Service, Provider, Location, CPT Code, and Description.
Date range shortcuts
Every report's date picker includes six one-click shortcuts:

Last 7 days

Choosing which columns you see
Most reports let you show or hide columns:
Hover over any column header.
Click the three-dot menu icon that appears in the header.
Click Manage columns.
Toggle columns on or off. Use Find column to search, or Show all / Hide all.
On Inventory History, the three-dot menu appears on the Status column header only. The Production Report is a chart rather than a table, so it has no columns to manage.
Column choices apply to your current session. If you navigate away and come back, the report returns to its default columns.
What you'll see when it works
Reports appears in the left navigation between Billing and Insurance. Selecting a group shows that group's reports as tabs across the top, with the first report loaded by default.
Troubleshooting
I can't find Reports under Billing anymore. Where did it go?
Reports moved to their own Reports section in the left navigation, between Billing and Insurance. This gives reporting room to grow beyond billing-only data. Billing now contains Invoices, Services, and Inventory only.
I don't see the Reports section in my navigation at all.
Viewing reports requires a specific permission on your user account. If Reports isn't visible, ask a practice administrator to confirm your role includes report access.
My filters and column choices reset every time I reopen a report.
That's expected today — filters and column selections apply to your current session and return to defaults when you reopen the report. Saved report preferences are in development.
Can I still print a report?
Yes — reports that support printing show a Print Report button alongside Download CSV.
