Who this is for: All Barti users who want a high-level summary of practice performance for a given period.

Before you start, you'll need:

  • A Barti account with access to Billing

Steps

  1. Navigate to Billing → Reports.

  2. Select Net Revenue from the dropdown in the top-right corner.

  3. (Optional) Filter by Location and Date Range to focus on a specific period or site.

  4. Review the report data (see below for what each section shows).

What you'll see when it works

The Net Revenue Report displays:

  • Total amount collected from invoices and payments for the selected date range

  • Glasses and contact lens orders for the selected date range

  • Total appointments for the selected date range, pulled from your calendar regardless of appointment status

  • CEE Count — determined by use of CPT codes 92004 and 92014

  • CL Evals — determined by use of CPT code 92310

  • Payment method table — the amount and percentage breakdown of collected revenue by payment source

Troubleshooting

Why doesn't the Net Revenue total match my Production Report?

These reports measure different things recorded at different points in time. Net Revenue shows payments actually received, recorded on the payment date. The Production Report shows charges billed, recorded on the charge created date. A lag between the two — especially with insurance — is expected and normal. See What does each Barti report measure? for a full explanation.

Why does my appointment count include cancelled appointments?

The total appointment count is pulled directly from your calendar regardless of appointment status. If you need a count of completed appointments only, follow Appointments > Schedule and filter by status for the desired date range.

Why don't my Net Revenue totals match QuickBooks Online?

QBO only reflects what has been synced through the integration and categorizes transactions according to your chart of accounts. For reconciliation, the Payment Method Report is a closer match to QBO since both measure cash collected. See What does each Barti report measure? for more detail.
