What types of orders can I place on Base8?
Base8 supports Market and Limit orders. Market orders execute immediately at the current market price, while Limit orders execute only when the price reaches your specified limit.
How can I view my live orders and trade history?
You can view your live trades and order history by going to the "Account Activity & History" section in your profile settings. To view live orders, you can either find them under "Your Orders" on the token's trade screen or by going to the activity window under "Live."
Where can I find my completed, rejected, and pending orders?
In the "Account Activity & History" section, click on the "Trades" tab to see all your completed, rejected, and pending orders. This provides a comprehensive overview of your trading activity. You can also see it on “Activity” which can be accessed from the home screen.
How do I cancel a pending order on Base8?
To cancel a pending order:
Go to the "Activity" section or the Trade screen under “Your orders”.
Find the pending order you wish to cancel and swipe left to cancel.
What is a Limit order and how do I use it?
A Limit order allows you to buy or sell a cryptocurrency at a specified price or better. To use a Limit order:
Select "Limit" as your order type in the trading interface.
Enter the price limit at which you are willing to buy or sell.
Enter the amount of cryptocurrency you want to buy or sell.
Confirm the order. It will only execute when the market reaches your specified price.
How do I track the status of my orders?
You can track the status of your orders in the “ Activity” page. Here you will see the status of each order as completed, rejected, or pending. You can also filter to see by order status only.
