In Pulse, credits can be awarded automatically through the Pulse activity and the automation engine. To enable this feature, you need to define which user profile field will store each user’s credit balance.

Credits user profile field
Select a custom user profile field to hold credit values for each user.
Note: Make sure the selected profile field is already created in the user settings. It should be read-only for students to prevent manual credit changes. Refer to Moodle’s official documentation on user profile fields for more information.
