When you purchase or renew a plugin from bdecent, your payment is processed by our payment provider, Paddle. Shortly after the transaction, you’ll receive an email from Paddle with the payment confirmation and a "View invoice" button. Clicking this button opens a web page displaying your invoice details. This page typically includes:
Invoice Number
Purchase Date
Product Name
Amount Paid
Payment Method
Billing Information
On this page, you can usually:
Edit billing details, such as adding a company name or VAT ID
Download the invoice as a PDF
Changing VAT details after purchase
If you add or correct your VAT ID after completing the purchase, Paddle rechecks the tax rules for your transaction. If the updated VAT information means that tax should not have been charged, Paddle may issue a partial refund for the VAT portion directly to the original payment method. The original order remains valid; only the tax amount is refunded.
Normally, you can update your VAT details directly on the invoice page. If this option is not available or if the tax is not adjusted automatically, you can contact Paddle support.
Note: All VAT and invoice adjustments are handled by Paddle – bdecent cannot change invoices or issue VAT refunds.
