When the Media Time repository is installed and configured, its instance appears in the file picker, allowing you to easily embed available Media Time resources in various activities such as pages or books.
Note: Only video formats natively supported by Moodle are available. For example, HLS playlists (.m3u8) files are not supported.
How to embed Media Time resources
In any activity where the tiny Moodle editor is available
Open any activity where the tiny Moodle editor is available.
Click Insert > Multimedia.
Select "Brows repositories..."
Open the Media Time repository.
Choose the Media file you want to embed.
Decide whether to link to an external file or create a local copy.
Click "Select this file".
Important: You need to create a repository instance to use this feature.
Tip: Use Video Time to embed Media Time resources when you need to support more file types and track video viewing.
