Assignments in Timetable

Manage start, due, and end dates for individual users, groups, or enrollment methods through assignment entries in Timetable (Pro only)

Updated over a month ago

About

Timetable lets you create assignments that generate individual calendar entries for each user. Assignments can control the start, due, and end date of a course and can be configured for individual users, groups, or enrollment methods. You can find assignments in a course under the secondary navigation menu > Timetable > Activity setup.

Note: Assignments override the settings made in the general course configuration in Timetable.

View and filter assignments in the schedule

Assignments are displayed in a table. All assignments are shown by default, and the filter above the table helps you narrow the list to what you need.

Filter options

  • Search use – Display only assignments of students whose data matches the keyword.

  • Filter by – Show assignments of all users or limit the list to one specific user.

  • Date range – Show all activities or limit the view to this week, this month, upcoming, or due items.

  • Priority – Show all activities or display only low, normal, or high priority assignments.

  • Date format – Display dates in both formats or only in relative or absolute format.
