It depends....

Reading the article on Fixed vs. Variable Worksites will help you understand this article better.

If you signed up for a job that is in a fixed worksite, then that address is the only location you need for work. Short, sweet, and simple - you have chosen where to work.

If you signed up for a job that has variable worksites, that means you chose a sponsor who has multiple locations in one MSA (Metropolitan Statistical Area). Meaning, yes, you chose where to work generally, but you will be assigned a specific worksite by the sponsor about 8 weeks away from your Start Date.

But won't I work at the address that is on my LC?

Not necessarily.

See this article for more info about your LC address and your worksite.

We constantly have clients requesting a specific worksite location. However, we encourage you to keep your expectations VERY LOW. Your sponsor may not be able to accommodate your requests/needs, and in fact, it is best not to even make a request. At this point, it is all about the needs of the business: the reason you were hired.

Your sponsor is suffering from the national labor shortage and has major staffing needs. YOU are the answer to their needs, and since you have received your sponsorship and Green Card through them, now it is time for you to answer the call and meet their needs.

Our Client Services Department will be here to communicate with your sponsor and provide your worksite when it is time!
