When you place an order with Beauty Solutions using a credit card, your card will be pre-authorized. The pre-authorization will be for the order total + tax and shipping. Once the order is shipped, we will then capture the final amount against the pre-authorized amount.
If you have a resale license on file, tax will be included in the pre-auth but will be removed before we capture the funds.
Example #1 - This example shows a pre-auth/capture on an order where we can fulfill the entire order
Pre-auth amount: $125
Capture amount: $125
Example #2 - This example shows a pre-auth/capture on an order where $50 worth of product was out of stock
Pre-auth amount: $125
Capture amount: $75
