Almost all groups with Beneplan come with international travel insurance as standard. To double check, you can either:

  1. Check your policy booklet and check the portion under Out of Country coverage to see the amount you are covered for and the duration.

  2. If you are still unsure, contact your insurer directly for more details. You can login to the mobile app, view on your desktop or call their call centre.

It's also a good idea to speak to your travel agent to find out if you require proof of insurance coverage as some countries require a written letter from your insurer.  If that's the case, you can either call them and request the same, or go online and print one for yourself.

Important Notice:  Most policies do not cover for preexisting medical conditions.
Ensure that you consult with your doctor respecting your medical condition and that you are cleared to travel before you leave.

Tips:

  1. Give someone at home a copy of your passport and itinerary, in case they are lost or stolen.

  2. Make sure those travelling with you are aware of all your necessary personal information so they can call for help on your behalf

  3. Have a safe and enjoyable journey!
