If you have a preexisting medical condition, check your Booklet/policy for terms and conditions.  Most insurers require that your condition and/or medication is stable for a minimum of 3 months before you are eligible for Out of Country coverage for that condition.  It is necessary for you to attend with your physician to ensure that they clear you to travel.
