How upsell revenue share works
Besty charges a percentage of upsell revenue (late checkouts, extra nights, early check-ins) generated through the platform. The rate depends on which payment processor you use:
Stripe: 6% revenue share. Stripe takes approximately 3% in processing fees; Besty charges the remaining 6% on top of that (total cost to you: ~9%).
Guesty Pay: 9% revenue share. Since Guesty Pay's processing fees are separate and already paid through Guesty, Besty's full 9% applies.
In both cases, your effective total cost is similar — the rate difference simply reflects where the payment processing fee is absorbed.
Why does my invoice show 9% if I use Guesty Pay?
This is correct. Because Guesty Pay charges its own processing fee separately (through your Guesty account), Besty charges the standard 9% revenue share. If you were on Stripe, Besty's share would be 6% since Stripe's ~3% processing fee comes out of Besty's portion.
Where is my invoice sent?
Invoices are sent to the billing email configured on your Besty account. If you need to update this, contact your support channel or go to your account settings.
Revenue share is not applied to owner stays
Upsells to owner or owner-guest reservations are excluded from revenue tracking. Only guest-facing upsells count toward your revenue share calculation.
