What is Dynamic Mode?

In Dynamic Mode, our system provides you with a new suggested bedtime (Flex Time) each week, tailored to your individual sleep patterns and goals. The Flex Time bedtime is designed to be just challenging enough to promote growth and improvement in your sleep habits. This means the Flex Time pushes you to improve, yet remains attainable to avoid constant failure. The system continuously recalibrates your suggested bedtime based on your historical sleep data and nightly performance, ensuring that your sleep goals stay aligned with your progress. This personalized and responsive approach helps you make steady advancements in your sleep habits.

What is Strict Mode?

In Strict Mode, the bedtime you set for yourself is the only reference point for scoring and feedback. The system does not offer dynamic suggestions or make adjustments based on your sleep data. Instead, it uses your chosen bedtime as the target and evaluates your performance based solely on whether you meet this set goal. This mode is straightforward and consistent, focusing solely on your self-defined bedtime without recalibration or additional feedback.


Sleep Plan

The New Sleep Plan is designed to help you optimize your sleep schedule for the upcoming week. Every Sunday, you'll receive a nudge reminding you to check your updated sleep plan. This plan is based on your past sleep patterns, goals, and any adjustments you may have made. It typically takes about 30 minutes to an hour for the system to process and update the new sleep plan, ensuring it's personalized to your needs for a better night's rest.


Which Should You Choose?

Dynamic Mode provides a flexible, adaptive approach, offering suggested bedtimes and ongoing feedback to help improve your sleep habits. On the other hand, Strict Mode offers a more rigid structure, focusing exclusively on the bedtime you set for yourself.

You have the option to follow our suggested bedtimes in Dynamic Mode or stick with your self-set bedtime in Strict Mode. Either way, BetterYou is here to support you in achieving a better night's sleep!
