Warning!

You’re now reading a legacy document. The features described below are only usable within the classic generation environment.

To find out how to create a new page in the latest environment, proceed to this document.

You can use a blank page template for creating the web pages for your application. You then have a blank canvas on which you can drag and drop components from the pages menu for designing your web page.

To use the blank page template:

1. Click on the New page button in the Pages quick menu pane to open Choose a page template:

2. Click on the Blank page template. The template image flips to reveal additional summary information about the template selected.

3. Click the Use button. The Create new page dialog is opened.

4. Specify a name for the page. Where required, specify a name that you can use to quickly identify the page. For example, if you want to create a homepage – use the homepage as the page name.

Tip! The name is also displayed in the URL details for identifying the page. As shown here, the name test is assigned here as the page name.

5. Click on the Create page button. This can take a few moments while the page is being defined and added to your application.

6. The main frame now contains the blank canvas. The name of the page assigned in step 4 is displayed in the menu pane. You can drag and drop components from the menu to the blank canvas and customize the design based on the available options.
