How much does Beventi cost to use?
While there are platform fees, those costs are automatically incurred from purchases. There are no set-up or monthly fees.
How do the platform fees work?
Beventi charges sellers 2.99% per transaction for direct sales.
For event related sales (preorder forms) Beventi charges sellers 2.99% per transaction. In addition, a 2% charge to the reader/customer is added on top of the order price, then subtracted from the payment along with the 2.99%.
For example:
Let’s say you’re selling a product via preorder for $100.
We add a 2% fee to the reader ($2)
The reader pays you $102 total
We then deduct our fees: 2.99% of the original $100 item price ($2.99) PLUS the $2 reader charge (Beventi’s total fee = $4.99)
Your net earnings: $102 - $4.99 = $97.01
Please note, depending on the payment provider you use (such as Stripe or PayPal) you may be charged a service fee by the payment provider, which is standard.
*Readers are not charged the 2% Beventi service fee for direct sales, only for preorders.
Does Beventi collect sales tax?
Beventi does not currently collect or remit sales tax.
How long does it take to get paid as an author/seller?
After a customer purchases an item from you, it should appear in your connected payment method account straight away.

Having trouble locating your payments?
Click into an order and select the transactions tab. There you will be able to view the transaction ID for that purchase, as well as access a link to directly take you to the transaction in your payment provider account.
