Creating an Event

Follow these steps to create an event on Beventi.

  1. Click “Create New Event” in the top right (if your event has already been created by an author, you can also submit a claim for the event instead of creating it anew).

  2. Upload your event banner (no worries if you need time to create this. You can move ahead without and always add it later).

  3. Fill out your event info (title, dates, etc.). Add a location if the event is in person, or toggle the slider if the event is virtual.

    1. If the event is virtual, be sure to add the link where readers can join the event (such as Zoom, Facebook group, etc.).

  4. Include any other important details or instructions in the description.

  5. Select if you want your event to be public or private. Private events will not be publicly listed for readers to search for and find.

  6. Decide if you want to add an order form password. Should you choose to create one, authors and vendors will need to know the password before creating an order form for the event.

  7. Enter the Terms & Conditions for authors and vendors if applicable.

Click Create. This will create your event in Draft form, so no one will see it until you officially hit “Publish.”
