In model management, you as an admin control which AI models are available in your workspace: for everyone, only for specific groups, or not at all. This is also where you set the default model.
Setting the default model
The default model applies to the entire workspace and is used whenever a user does not pick a different model:
Open model management
Select the desired default model from the list
Confirm your selection
Tip: Keep the Smart Router as the default. It automatically picks the most efficient model for every task and keeps costs down.
Controlling available models
For each model, you define the access level:
All: the model is available to the entire company
Groups: only specific teams may use the model
Disabled: the model is not available in the workspace
This ensures that expensive premium models are only used where they are needed, and that your team only works with models that meet your compliance requirements.
Filtering models
Two filters help you navigate the large model selection:
Region: Show all regions, only EU-hosted, or only globally hosted models. Relevant if your company allows EU hosting only.
Provider: Filter by provider, e.g. OpenAI, Anthropic or Google.
