How to report a problem / issue / damage on a bike

Updated this week

When you pick a bike up, check that everything is ok.

If you find a problem on the bike, just return it to the station.

If you return the bike within 3 minutes from the beginning of the trip, you can immediately take another one up without waiting or accruing costs.

Report damage

After returning the bike, select ‘Report damage’ 👇

Choose the components of the bike that have a problem. If you refer to a component that is present twice in the list, select only the raw regarding the type of fault! 😉 👇

If the component is not present in the list, scroll down and click on 'Something else' ✔️ 👇

Describe the problem/s' details and confirm with ✔️ 👇

Finally, select ‘Report damage’ one last time; a 'Thank you!' will appear at the bottom of the screen, confirming that the report has been received by the maintenance 👇

Important: for a communication with more details, after reporting the problem with the referred functionality, just select the virtual assistant and choose 'I have a problem using the bike/returning the bike' - 'Damaged bike' and follow the suggested steps (click here for the article on the virtual assistant).

Important notes

Attention: the report damage function is a fast way for organizing and signalling the priorities for the bikes' maintenance.

Use this tool responsably; unecessary reports can impact negatively on the bikes' availability.

The 'Report damage' must not be used for comunicating problems not related to the bikes' components mulfunction.

Thanks for your collaboration!
