Tags allow you to add a new level of customization to your budgets by including or excluding specific types of transactions. Here’s how to use them effectively:

How to Use Tags in Budgets

  1. Create a new budget or edit an existing one.

  2. Tap on "Include/Exclude Tags".

  3. Select the tags you want to include in the budget. For example:

    • Use a tag like "Work Lunches" to track only those expenses within a broader category like "Eating Out."

    • Combine multiple tags, such as "Business Dinners" and "Client Meetings," to track work-related dining expenses.

  4. Choose tags to exclude specific transactions from the budget. For instance:

    • Exclude a tag like "Reimbursements" for transactions that will be paid back and shouldn’t count toward your budget.

    • Exclude tags like "Holidays" if you want your monthly food budget to only reflect regular, non-vacation meals.

  5. 👉 Note: If a tag is already chosen and you need to add or edit it, tap on the tag to open the edit options.

Why Use Tags?

Tags help you refine your budgets for specific spending goals or exclude unrelated expenses, giving you more precise control over your finances.
