Budgets are a powerful tool to help track your expenses and ensure you don’t overspend on things like snacks or coffee. They also provide valuable insights into your spending patterns, helping you identify when it’s time to cut back.
Steps to Create a Budget
Go to the "Planning" tab.
Press "Add Budget".
Fill in the following details:
Title: Keep it simple, like “Eating Out” or “Groceries.” Use emojis to personalize your budget if you’d like!
Monthly Limit: Set a realistic limit for your spending. You can adjust this over time as needed.
Categories: Choose main categories or subcategories that the budget will track.
Include/Exclude Tags: Tags can refine your budget. For example, create a tag like "Work Lunches" to track specific expenses within broader categories like "Eating Out."
Accounts: Select whether the budget tracks all accounts or only specific ones.
Notes: Add any details or reminders about the budget.
Month-Specific Limits: If your spending changes in future months, set different limits for those months.
Press Save to finalize your budget.
