The Bulk Upload portion of BIOZONE WORLD allows you to easily upload all required Classrooms, Teachers and Students from CSV spreadsheets.

Download CSV Templates

Click on the “Bulk Upload” button
Click on the DOWNLOAD CLASS CSV and DOWNLOAD USER CSV buttons to download the bulk upload templates

Open the class-template.csv file that was downloaded

Fill out the class-template spreadsheet. This is where you can enter all classrooms. The fields required to be filled are:

name *Required field.	This is the name for the classroom, as it will show in BIOZONE WORLD for teachers and students. This must be unique within your school or district.
reference *Required field.	This is a unique identifier for the classroom. If you don’t have a unique identifier, you can use Schoolname_Classname, or anything else you want. This must be unique within your school or district.
description Optional field.	Here you can add additional information for your internal reference. This could be useful for distinguishing between similarly named classes. This is an optional field.

Open the user-template.csv file that was downloaded

Fill out the user-template spreadsheet. This is where you can add teacher and students, and assign them to classrooms. The fields for this are:

displayName *Required field	This will be the display name for the user. Please enter both a first and last name (eg. John Smith)
email *Required field	This is the user’s email address they can use to log in. This must follow the format of an email address (eg. name@domain.tld)
password *Required field	This will be the user’s temporary password. This must be at least 7 characters long, and contain a number, symbol and capital letter. The user will be required to change this after first log in. Recommended Use the same password for all students e.g., learnbiology As students will be resetting their passwords anyways. Use the same password for all teachers (different from students) e.g., teachbiology Teachers can set their own passwords after their first login
role *Required field	This is the users role. The accepted options are teacher student Please enter in all lowercase.
class *Required field	This is the classroom the user will be assigned to. Please enter a class exactly as you entered in the name column in the class-template spreadsheet. Multiple classes can be entered, separated by commas eg. Class1,Class2…

In BIOZONE WORLD, click on the ATTACH CSV FILES button.
Select BOTH the class-template and user-template spreadsheets. You can select multiple files by holding down ctrl (Windows) or cmd (MacOS) and clicking on both the spreadsheet files.

Click on UPLOAD.

You will need to wait a few seconds while the spreadsheets are uploaded and processed.

When the upload is complete, the bulk upload window will close automatically and a userEmailsAndPasswords spreadsheet will be downloaded.

This spreadsheet will contain the user's login and password details. These details can be distributed to the users.
