The Builder tool is designed to help you group registrants for events like golf outings, dinner banquets, or other group-based activities. It allows you to keep certain individuals together—whether they requested it or you need to assign them manually.
Viewing and Filtering Registrants
The Builder displays all relevant registrant information. You can filter this data to group people based on:
Same registrant
Same company name
Same purchased packages
Same answers to custom questions
Grouping Registrants
Once filtered, you can begin grouping registrants. For example, in a golf tournament, you can assign golfers to specific starting holes:
Manual Assignment: Drag golfers into the hole (group) you want them to start on. Holes are labeled 1–18 by default.
Auto Assignment: Click "Auto-Assign All Golfers" to automatically sort golfers into holes. Registrants who signed up together will remain in the same group.
Clear All Holes: Use this button to remove all current hole assignments, resetting the layout. All golfers will return to the left-hand column (Golfer List), which allows you to start assignments from scratch if needed.
To move all golfers associated with a registrant:
Click the three dots next to a registrant’s name.
Select "Move golfers registered with this person into group."
This will group all related golfers together.
Adjusting Golfer Assignments
After completing the initial setup or using the Auto Assign function, you may need to make specific adjustments to golfer assignments by manually moving them between holes.
Using the 'Clear All Holes' Button
The 'Clear All Holes' button resets all hole assignments by moving all golfers back into the Golfer List. This is especially useful when starting over or reorganizing groups for a new setup.
Manual Adjustments with Drag-and-Drop
You can manually move golfers or teams as follows:
Review the automatically generated assignments.
Drag golfers from assigned holes back to the Golfer List on the left-hand side if adjustment is needed.
Reassign by dragging them into the desired hole.
Repeat as necessary to create preferred groupings and ensure pairing accuracy.
