Creating Registration Items for Volunteers

How to create volunteer registration items for golf tournaments and non-golf outings

BirdEase is capable of handling a number of events in addition to typical golf outings. A few examples: 5Ks, Galas, fishing events, clay shoots, etc. Basically, if your event requires online registration, BirdEase can accommodate and customize to suit your specific needs!

One of the features you can customize on your site is Registration Items. In this article, we will be discussing how you can create Volunteer sign-up options.

Simply create a Registration Item entitled “Volunteer Registration” (or another preferred item name) and change the price to $0.00. Under the Advanced Options, you'll also find a toggle to Hide Price.

For enhanced customization, you could add an Item Category for volunteer opportunities to make it easy to find. You can also change the name of the “Register” page to describe the volunteer opportunities, if that's all you'll be listing on the page.

Once people begin signing up, you can download the Full Report to pull a full list of your volunteers. You'll see a dedicated sheet in the report called "Volunteer Registration" (or whatever you've chosen to name the volunteer item on your registration page).
