From sending Online Check-In Emails prior to your event, to using the Check-In Page in your Event Management Dashboard on the day of your event, this is an ultimate guide to the BirdEase Check-In feature.

You can find the Check-In page by looking under the Management divider on the left-hand side of your dashboard. It is the second option down, just underneath the Registrants tab.

The orange "Send Online Check-In Email" button allows you to send out an email to all golfers (or attendees, if you're running a non-golf event) allowing them to check themselves in ahead of time. They will be notified with a direct link to check-in on your BirdEase website to skip the check-in line.

If you want to make the Check-In page visible on your website for people to find and check themselves in, you'll need to visit the Pages tab of your dashboard and toggle on "Visible on Website" under the Check-In Page. This will enable attendees to find the check-in page on your site and enter their email as a way of verifying that they're signed up for the event before the site marks them as checked in.

If you'd like to change the text that appears after someone checks in, you can do so from within the Pages section in the Check-In Page editor. You can also change the Check-In button text for your website header here (the check-in button in the header will appear once the page is made visible).

Any golfers that check themselves in ahead of time will be already be checked off. You (and any other admin users) can use the check-in page on the day of the event to search through attendee names and filters to check in individuals or entire groups at a time using the check boxes and "Check All" buttons on the far right-hand side.

You can also leave notes, view tee assignments, send live scoring links, change paid status, and more for registrants and attendees in this page. It's a great resource for the day of the event!
