Registration Settings, how to uncheck / deselect registration question(s) , registrant checkout questions

Written by Kenny Najem

Registrant Settings give the Event Manager more control over the registration process, from changing the text of the button in the cart to what information will be collected at registration. To find the Registrant Settings, click on Registration and then Registrant Settings.

Cart Button Text

The Cart Button Text box can be edited to change the text of the registrants "Check Out" button. The Cart Button Text is defaulted to "Register For Event". Popular Cart Button Text changes include: "Continue", "Proceed to Check Out", etc.

Event Registration Settings

  • Auto Display Sponsor Images: Automatically shows logos uploaded by sponsors and registrants directly on your event site.

  • Disable Registrant Link: Turns off the link that lets registrants manage their own registration details after they've signed up for the event. Enable this toggle when event details (such as player pairings, team assignments, or headcounts) are finalized, and the event manager wants to lock in the information so registrants can no longer make changes on their own.

  • One Registration Per Email: Limits an email address to a single registration. If someone needs to modify or add to their registration later, they will have to contact the event manager.

  • Registrant Waiver/TOS/Privacy Policy: Forces users to accept and agree to a Waiver, Terms of Service, or Privacy Policy during the checkout process.

Registrant Questions

The only two fields that you cannot disable are Name and Email. All other fields can be disabled to make a simpler registration process where the other information is not needed. A field is active when the background is green. When the background is white, the field is disabled and the registrant will not see it.

Additional Settings

Special Comments

This is a unique field in the registration process. If gives the registrant the ability to add any other key information that is important for the event manager. The event manager can change the label about the input during the registrant process. An example of that could be "Food Allergies", where the event manager wants to get more exact information from the registrant.

Require Special Comments

Special Comments can be toggled to be required or can be in the "Additional Info" area of the registration process but not required. To do this you can toggle the "Require Special Comments" toggle right below the input.

Registrant Waiver/TOS/Privacy Policy

When enabled, the event manager is able to add a Waiver/TOS/Privacy Policy to the registration process, forcing registrants to acknowledge it and click the checkbox before continuing the registration process.

Once enabled you will be able to change the text next to the checkbox(Waiver/TOS/Privacy Policy Checkbox Text), as well as the content of the Waiver/TOS/Privacy Policy.
