By default, Birdie pulls the status from carers and clients from Careplanner to ensure you do not have to update both systems when making any changes.

Carers

To ensure carers are set to 'inactive' in Birdie, their status needs to be a changed to an 'Ex Employee' status. You can update the carer status here https://{your-org}.care-planner.co.uk/admin/config/careplanner-carers/status/statuses

Top tip: The status' in green will reflect as 'active' in Birdie, whilst the ones in red will show as 'inactive' in your Birdie interface.

Clients

To ensure clients are set to 'inactive' in Birdie, their status needs to be updated using one of the 'Ex Client' statuses below.

Please also ensure that your client isn't set as an 'Organisation' in CarePlanner or we'll unable to synchronise their status.
