Please note: The following feature is available as part of Birdie’s Core, Advanced, Plus, Care Management and Advanced Care Management packages (Previously known as Care Management & Rostering, Care Management, Rostering & Finance, Premium) Please get in touch if interested in more information on this feature!

Providing care can be unpredictable and scheduled visits can sometimes end up being longer or shorter than the Care professional intended.

With the overruns/underruns feature (also known as visit discrepancy), Care professionals will always be prompted to provide a reason if their care visit ends up being longer or shorter, allowing you to easily share and audit visits with any third parties.

The default setting for this feature is 15 minutes, so if a visit ends 15 minutes after the scheduled time or finishes 15 minutes before the scheduled time, Care professionals will be prompted to provide more information before submitting their report.

The default setting can be adjusted to your preference, to alter this, send your account manager or our support team a message.

Once the Care professional has submitted their report, you will be able to see the duration of the visit on the Visit log page alongside the reason for the overrun or underrun.

Please note: you will not receive an alert for visit discrepancies.
