Please note: The following feature is available for all of Birdie’s packages.

Having a passcode on the Birdie app adds another layer of security to keep your care recipient and Care Professionals' information safe and secure. The first time Care Professionals log into the Birdie app they will be asked to create a 4-digit passcode and they will have to re-enter this passcode after 30 minutes of inactivity to continue using the app.

You can set a shorter or longer time before the app auto-locks and the passcode is required again, depending on your individual agency needs.

How to set up your agency auto-lock duration

  1. Click your name in the right-hand corner of the Agency hub

  2. Select Carer app settings and scroll down to 'Auto lock app duration'

  3. Choose your new settings

  4. Click Save settings

You can set a maximum duration of 12 hours of inactivity before the passcode is required again and a minimum of 1 second.
