Please note: The following feature is available for all of Birdie’s packages.

How to change your notification settings

You can choose to receive notifications via emails, SMS or both with Birdie. To select your notifications, start by going to notifications settings, you can also find this by going to the Inbox tab and clicking on the 'Settings' button at the bottom left of the page.

Here, you can choose your preferences for each type of alert, such as medication, concerns, forced check-ins and third-party alerts. If you are receiving too many alerts you can also uncheck these boxes to no longer receive a notification.

We do advise that you only set up notifications for the most critical alerts, this is to make sure that you are not overloaded with text messages.

When you are done you can select the Back to Inbox button at the top of the page.

Please note: Changing these settings will update your notification settings across every Agency/Branch your profile has access to.

Alert notifications for specific Care Recipients

To turn off certain alert notifications for specific Care Recipients, start by going to their profile and clicking on Settings on the left-hand side tab.

From here you can turn off Late and missed visit alerts.

You will not be able to turn off Medication or Concerns alerts for individual Care Recipients.
