Please note: The following feature is available for all of Birdie’s packages.

Start by selecting the Care Recipient under the Clients tab, and click on their Visits tab on the left-hand side. Locate the visit you would like to edit and click edit on the pop-up box.

A new window will appear where you can update:

  • The number of carers required (maximum of 4 carers on one visit)

  • The start or end time of the visit

  • The end date for the visit (this allows you to stop the visit schedule completely)

  • Funding (contract) for the visit

  • Required Skills

  • Order the tasks and medications

  • Remove tasks or medications from the visit

Please note: you cannot edit the frequency of the visit or the start date, if you need to edit these you will need to end the schedule and start a new one, for more information on how to end a visit schedule please read this article - How to end a visit schedule

When you have made all the necessary updates, make sure to click Save Changes in the top-right corner. You can select whether these changes are for all visits in this schedule or just for this visit.

How to edit the funding information linked to a visit

You can edit the funding for a visit by clicking on Edit and Click on More options at the top of the page. On the drop-down menu click Set funding information.

Select the correct contract and click Save funding information. Now click Save changes in the top-right corner. This funding will be applied to this and all following visits that are part of the schedule.

If you don't see the contract you are looking for, that is because there is no purchase order linking the care recipient to the contract. You will need to return to the Finance tab and make sure everything is set up properly.

If you need to set funding information for one visit in the schedule and not the entire schedule then read this article on how to override funding options.
