It is important to be able to easily find and surface information on a specific care recipient in order to have a comprehensive view of their care. Therefore we developed Client Feed, which is a place where you can see all the information about an individual recipient of care in one central place!
How to locate the Client Feed
The Client Feed is associated with the profile of each and every one of your care recipients. To find this, go to the Clients tab and click on the care recipient you wish to view.
Client Feed is located on the left-hand menu and will be the second option directly after About Me.
Within the Client Feed, you will be able to see:
Visit logs associated with this specific care recipient
Alerts that have been raised for this specific care recipient
Notes to record non-visit information such as compliments, complaints, and third-party interactions
By default, you’ll see all three of these categories (all Visits, Alerts, Notes) in the ‘All’ feed. But you can easily click through the tabs to see a specific category of info only. For instance, if you click into the ‘Notes’ tab, you’ll only see the Notes associated with the care recipient - and exclude the Alerts and Visits. This will let you focus in on exactly the information you need.
Additionally, you can click into any of these ‘cards’ to get more detail, review notes and the audit trail of what’s happened or changed.
How to view Visit logs in Client Feed
Within Client Feed, you can click into any visit card you would like to get more detail on. Once in the specific card, you’ll be able to see the visit details, alerts, activities, observations, care team and timeline of this specific visit.
Details shows all the details such as check-in and check-out time, total visit time, client location and more.
Alerts gives you the ability to see all the alerts that have been raised during this specific visit.
Activities page allows you to see the status of the tasks and activities that you added for this visit.
Observation includes any observations that have been logged during this specific visit, such as care recipient’s mood, toilet visits, drink and fluid intake and more.
Care team page shows the carer assigned to this visit and any preferred care professionals.
How to view Alerts in Client Feed
Within Client Feed, you can click into any alert card you would like to get more detail on. Once in the specific alert card, you’ll be able to see the alert details, any comments that have been added, and a timeline which will include an audit trail of changes to this alert.
When you click on Details, you can see all the details associated with this alert, including status of the alert, category of the concern, severity of the concern, and privacy settings.
Under Comments, you’ll be able to see any existing comments as well as have the ability to post a new one if you’d like.
What are ‘Notes’ and how do I create them?
Notes allow you to record non-visit information such as compliments, complaints, and general interactions!
To add a new one, click Add new note located at the top centre of the screen.
Select the note types from the drop down menu. There are 3 types of notes - complaint, compliment and general notes.
Once you’ve selected the note type, you’ll be able to record the detail of the note itself. You’ll also be asked to add a Title, which is mandatory.
You can also add any further details you would like to describe and give context to the note.
Then click Save.
If you would like to make a change on note, click on the relevant note and the Edit button will appear on the bottom of the page.
Please note: To get the most out of Notes, we recommend that you leverage this for all your care recipients - this will ensure you have a robust set of information at your disposal and a consistent approach for all under your care.
What are Filters? How can I filter through the Client Feed?
On the Client Feed you will see ‘all results’ by default however you’ll also have the option to click into each of the specific categories (Alerts, Visits, Notes). But if you would like to find more specific results, you can use additional Filters.
To use even more filters, click the + More filters button. This will pull up an ‘Advanced filters’ screen.
Here, you’ll be able to filter the results based on a variety of things, including:
