We understand that you may need to pay Care Professionals for a specific amount of mileage completed on a journey. Birdie has now made it possible to add advanced mileage rules onto a pay run so that you have greater control over how much mileage you would like to pay.

Within the Pay run tab, Birdie has made it so you can specify whether you want to remove the first X amount of miles of the Care Professionals daily mileage as an adjustment after the Pay run has been created.

You will see the total mileage they have clocked up, but also the amount that is removed as a result of the rule being applied.

To do this, navigate the the Pay Run tab at the top right of the pay run you will see a button called Advanced mileage.

Click on this to open up a pop-up modal. Here you will be able to identify the maximum milers to deduct per day i.e. 10 miles for example.

Once done, click OK to make your adjustments. This will now show as a mileage adjustment on the Care Professional's paysheet with the amount that has been deducted.
