The Parts to Pull report helps whoever is pulling parts to fulfill Customer Orders. It lists parts that are still available to be pulled as well as parts that have already been pulled, giving you a clear picture of what remains outstanding.
Running the Parts to Pull Report
To open the report, navigate to Reporting in the Blackpurl header, then select Reports.
On the Reporting page, go to Parts and select Parts to Pull.
Understanding the Report Columns
The Parts to Pull report displays a data table with the following columns.
Order Number | The Customer Order number associated with the parts required. Click an order number to open that Customer Order in a new browser tab. |
Customer | The customer named on the Customer Order. |
Sales Type | The sale type for the order — for example, Parts - Customer or Service Customer. |
Item Description | The description of the part that needs to be pulled. |
Location | Where the part is stored in the dealership, if a location has been assigned on the Part Record. |
Needed | The quantity required to satisfy that Customer Order line item. |
In Stock | The quantity currently in stock in Blackpurl. |
Pulled | How many have already been pulled to meet the required quantity. This figure comes from the Parts Picklist section on the relevant Customer Order. |
To Pull | How many are still left to pull to meet the required quantity. |
Marking Parts as Pulled
Once you have physically pulled the items, open the relevant Customer Order and go to the Parts Picklist section. Record how many of each part you have pulled. The quantity you enter there updates the Pulled and To Pull columns the next time you run the report.
Filtering and Customising the Report
The default filters can be changed to narrow the report to what you need. Use the Filter icon to open the filter panel — for example, to report only on specific Sale Types.
Click the Columns icon to show or hide columns in the report.
Click the Print / Export icon to print the report or export it as a CSV or PDF file.
