Org Admins can control user registrations as follows -- assuming you have a company-wide, standard email. This is the most standard and preferred approach that we recommend:
Allow your users to sign up
Automatically approve colleagues in your organization that match your company email
If you have users with inconsistent emails, you may want to manually approve each new sign up to be sure you know exactly who is allowed to login to your Blazemark organization
Require each sign-up to be approved by an org admin
Manage Organization
Go to your admin / Manage Organization page to edit your settings.
If you have a standard email address for your fire department, add this "Official Email", for example:
lhcazfd.com
arlingtontx.gov
Allow Users to Sign Up
Preferred. Typically, to get started, we recommend you show the 'Sign up' button on your Blazemark website and let your users know about the new Blazemark site so they can register themselves. (By default, users get read-only access rights.)
User Approval
Preferred. You can also choose to require each new sign up be approved manually (by Org Admins) -- eliminating the risk that a "stranger" signs up.
Pre-Approve Users With Company Email
Preferred. If you have a "company" email domain, you can choose to pre-approve your own users who have a proper email address. Users with non-company emails (e.g., with a gmail.com or yahoo.com email) will require org admin approval.
Closed Signup
If you want to completely control the users manually, you can turn off allowing sign-ups, and then manually invite users (this can be done in bulk with a spreadsheet-like tabular entry form).
Approval Workflow
This is how the Approval Process looks:
Confirmation email now mentions approval needed:
The Org Admins get an email to let them know someone is waiting for approval:
And the user knows that they have to wait for approval before they can sign in:
