Using the same approach as our job markup feature, the insurance markup feature allows users to select some or all categories of a bid and apply a markup percentage.
Click on Insurance underneath the Financial tab in the info block of a job, and can enter the insurance as a cash value and/or as a percentage of certain categories. You can save both a cash value and a percentage and toggle between them at any point during the job.
To enter a cash value, simply select cash value, enter a number and press "Save" at the bottom of the pop-up.
To add a percentage, select it, enter a value, and choose the categories you want to apply insurance too. Don't forget to press "Save" at the bottom of the window.
The insurance total will appear in the black totals bar at the bottom of the app, and will be printed in the numbers stack on printed documents. Estimate and invoices have separate insurance information.
