Blockpit automatically detects your assets as soon as you add an exchange or wallet/blockchain integration. You usually don’t need to create them manually. Your assets are automatically added to our database and, if available, linked to the appropriate price data source (CoinMarketCap & Coingecko).
Entire NFT collections and prices for EVM-chain based assets are also automatically imported.
Which asset classes exist?
✅ Fiat (EUR, USD, CHF, etc.)
✅ Crypto (coins & tokens)
✅ Commodities (gold, silver, etc.)
✅ Derivatives (leverage tokens, tokenized stocks/commodities etc.)
✅ NFTs (NFT collections)
Why are some assets still not selectable in Blockpit?
In rare cases, the correct asset may be missing from the asset selection. You can report this specifically to our support team. Please provide us with enough information (short name, long name, token contract address, available links) about the desired asset.
💡 You can enter the token contract address in the drop-down menu when searching for the corresponding asset.
Alternatively, you can use our Generic Assets.
Why are some assets displayed incompletely in Blockpit?
If your assets are not yet displayed with appropriate price data in the dashboard, you can first check their availability on CoinMarketCap or Coingecko.
A key requirement for adding additional price data sources for assets incompletely displayed is a full listing on CoinMarketCap or Coingecko.
Please also send us the relevant link to the price data source so that our team can review your asset and the associated mappings in our database.
Once you've provided all the necessary information, our AI assistant, Lia, can hand your request over to our regular support team so we can review your asset and the associated mappings in our database.
Why is the value of some assets not displayed in the Dashboard?
No problem! This has no effect on the calculation of your tax report. This only means that there is currently no live price data for the affected asset. This only affects the display of the Live Portfolio Value.
Real-time prices for portfolio tracking are unfortunately not always available live and depend on whether your asset is listed on Coinmarketcap or Coingecko with a daily available price or if blockchain price data is fetched by Blockpit.
Updating asset values of transactions does NOT affect the portfolio values displayed in the dashboard, but has an effect on your performance data and your tax report.
