Transaction Details Overview
By click on a transaction, all transaction details can be viewed as illustrated in the image below.
The extended transaction details Ledger and Tax are described in the following guideline:
Managing & Editing of Transactions
All possibilities to change or extend transaction details are described in the following subsections.
Please always synchronize all your integrations first using “🟩 Sync All” (Dashboard > Integrations Tab) and then start a calculation of your transaction data using “🟧 Calculation” (Sidebar) before you analyze Tips or the performance values of your portfolio.
Quick Merging & Labeling
Transaction labels can be changed one by one using a quick menu or collectively using the bulk feature. In addition it is also possible to "merge" related transactions into a Trade or Transfer by selecting them.
✅ Labels of individual transactions can best be changed via the quick menu or edited in the sidebar.
✅ Labels for multiple identical transactions can be changed simultaneously using bulk labeling.
✅ Merging of two related outgoing and incoming transactions by directly selecting both existing counterparts.
Bulk-Editing & Bulk-Labeling
✅ Bulk Function allows Labeling and Deleting of multiple transactions. It also allows you to change the review status of multiple different transactions.
To do this, select all the desired transactions and choose the corresponding option in the action bar.
💡 Be sure to select only incoming OR only outgoing transactions, otherwise no labels will appear.
Editing of single Transactions
✅ Transaction details such as Label, Date, Asset, Asset Amount, Fee and Transaction ID can also be accessed and customized via "Edit" as shown below.
View and Reset Edits
✅ All edits (the history of changes made to your transaction) can be viewed in the “Edits” section of the advanced transaction details and can be restored to their original state by clicking the “Reset Transaction” button.
❗ If the transactions are “merged” Trades, Transfers, or Token Migrations, they must first be separated using the “Split Transaction” function before resetting is available.
Transactions that were direcly imported as Trade, Transfer, or Token Migration via syned integration (API) can not be split but directly reset.
Split Transactions
✅ Transfer or Trade transactions can also be split into their components, deposit & withdrawal using “Split Transaction” as shown below. Please note that this is not possible for Trades that have been automatically imported into Exchange Integrations.
Delete Transactions
(Soft Delete, formerly referred to as “exclude”)
✅ Transactions can also be excluded from the tax calculation using "Deleted Transaction" as shown below.
It s also possible to delete multiple transactions via Bulk Selection.
Deleted transactions will no longer appear in your transaction list and can only be found using the Filter Option: "View = Deleted". Once filtered you can also decide if you want to Recover or Permanently Delete the respective transactions.
The permanent deletion of transactions in integrations is not reversible. However, permanently deleted transactions in synced integrations can potentially be re-synchronized/imported as described in the following article using “Sync missing transactions”.
Update Asset-Values
✅ Asset Values are mostly determined automatically, but can be adjusted or added via the "Update Asset Values" feature as shown below.
Copy Transactions
✅ You can also duplicate an existing transaction. Simply click on "Copy Transaction" to open the sidebar where you can make any necessary adjustments. Once done, click "Save" to finalize the new transaction.
