Automatic spam asset detection
Blockpit automatically analyzes newly imported assets and transactions for possible spam characteristics. The labeling is based on typical spam indicators such as unusual name patterns, promotional terms, embedded links, or known spam contracts.
Both automatic and manual flagging hides or excludes all associated balances, values, and transactions for the flagged asset.
Automatic detection can be enabled via the account settings “Auto-Detect Spam Tokens”:
Manual spam asset marking
Blockpit provides a specific feature to Mark Assets as Spam (Spam Token) in order to manually hide and exclude all related balances, values, and transactions. This way you can clean up your dashboard and transaction list and exclude spam assets from showing up in your tax report.
As soon as an asset or transaction has been marked as spam, future transactions will also be excluded and thereby set as spam across all integrations. If you incorrectly marked an asset as spam this may be the cause why no related transactions are imported into your account.
To mark assets as spam first go to your Holdings Tab in your Dashboard as shown below.
Next navigate to the spam asset and click on Mark as Spam.
All marked spam assets are now collected at the bottom of your Holdings Tab.
You can also Remove from Spam if you want to include your asset and all related transactions again or find transactions that are marked directly via the Filter-Option: View=Spam in your Transactions list as shown below.
